Flower Power!

Hello, Everyone

I want to this time out to thank you all for reading my blog. I hope that my research and information helps you and yours in many ways. The support drives me so please add comments or send questions, it will be my pleasure to find the most correct and accurate information. Every time I see my visit count go up I feel excited to share this passion of mine with the world! Thanks from the bottom of my heart<3 So I send you a Rose as a token of my appreciation!

Today I'd like to talk about flower power but one in particular ROSES! Why have I chosen this you ask? Well, I decided to work as a temp at a floral shop for Mother's Day. Yes, how cool huh? As we all know flowers contain medicinal properties and many of the larger health food stores have a floral department. However, if you work in the vitamin section you don't get to work in the floral department and you don't get to see or learn what goes on. So I jumped at the opportunity to learn and what fun it was!

Roses are beautiful creations and as I was preparing each one, it hit me...I looked at it red petals and thought to myself this rose is going to make someone smile and every rose I held I kept thinking I am preparing a message of LOVE... Think about it! What do you think when you get flowers...I don't know about you but for me I know that this person has love for me. What a wonderful feeling that is and even in this world where there is so much with many horrible things happening, so much craziness and sadness it crossed my mind even with all the madness happening on Mother Earth SHE STILL CREATES FLOWERS FOR US! All hope is not lost as long as we have flowers, it is when we don't that the human species is in serious danger...

"Flowers is the Earth's way of laughing"

Roses represent many meanings and in ancient times were sacred but in modern times receiving a rose in a night club means you are pretty or I'd like to take you home, Yes! It's the hardcore truth ladies. A rose can also mean I'm sorry or can I get out of the dog house now. But not all are like that...lol Roses are given on special days like Valentine's day, Mother's day and I'd like to think that flowers are given to those you love with pure intentions. We are enchanted by the elegance, sensuality and unfolding glory of the rose. I know I am so I did some digging and here's what I found 8) {by the way the 8 and ) stands for my nerd face} Lol

On the surface, rose symbolism conveys attributes such as:
  • Love

These are just a few symbolic meanings for the Rose, the list is pretty much endless because the rose is the queen soul of the garden. She champions our senses with her voluptuous beauty and heady fragrance. The white of the rose encourages purity and asks us to cleanse our mind for optimal results on our path.
