Harvey Diamond



Working at a Health Food Store has it's perks, we get to attend awesome trainings, free lectures, and try the products for free. Once a year, all the venders and natural product makers host a huge event all under one roof and I gotta tell you...It is truly amazing!! You meet all of these great, knowledgeable and spiritual people. It has completely changed my life for the better.

That being said, I had the opportunity to meet the legendary HARVEY DIAMOND, the author Fit for life.  Those of you that are health food advocates know who he is and those of you that don't should buy his books. Food Combining is the key to a healthy way of life. This man had a lot to say about ENZYMES!! Yes, I knew that they are extremely important but it really hit me hard and I'll tell you why...Enzymes are responsible for repairing DNA.

Did you know if planet Earth lost all it's enzymes it would look the planet Mars. That's right people, MARS! A dead planet so what do you think would happen if a human runs out of enzymes? Enzymes are one of the most essential elements in our body. They are more important than the air, water & food. Enzymes are required for your body to function properly because without enzymes you wouldn't be able to breathe, swallow, drink, eat, talk, blink, repair or digest food. Fact: 80% of your immune system is in your stomach.
Enzymes are absolutely necessary!!

When you eat an apple (organic please:) this apple contains the enzymes necessary to digest itself. Yes, some people have the idea that by eating raw food they think that they are storing enzymes. These  enzymes are used up immediately because they are used to digest the apple and the same goes for a salad. Now, I do eat raw fruit and vegetables but I love eating cooked food too. When I do you can bet I take my enzymes!

The proper way to eat would be to have 70% to 75% raw foods. However one should take enzymes every single time if they are consuming cooked foods because heat destroys all the enzymes and the body has to rob from it's reserve to be able to digest the food. In this process the body has a hard time sending vitamins and minerals where they need to go, eliminating toxins, repairing and building muscle, bones, skin (well, you get the picture).

What do you think happens when the body can no longer repair it self? Think about a car that can't be repaired...I cannot stress enough how important it is to take your enzymes everyday.




Enzymes are the most important supplement in the world.
