I humbly thank you all for visiting my blog! In the past 8 months my world was turned upside down and everything change. It was almost as if the walls around me were crumbling down. That is the best way to describe it. I've always been honest so here I am coming clean once again. Here it is, I stopped everything sort of like a deer in head lights. Everything I loved to do I just froze and kept my feeling on ice but deep inside there was a tornado starting. If I list all the things I've been through I could write a book...lol Maybe... I will, but not today, today I'm taking about Adrenal Fatigue that is associate with the stresses in major life changes. On the bright side check me out...I'm writing again....and just in case your wondering no, everything is not all better. I came across this quote and I knew I had to start.
What are adrenals? The adrenal glands are small organs that sit on top of the kidneys. They are hormone-producing glands. When these glands are burnt out it's called adrenal fatigue syndrome. Adrenal fatigue can wreak havoc with your life. When the activity of the adrenal glands become diminished you may have difficulty getting out of bed for more than a few hours per day. As the function of your adrenal lessens every organ and system in your body is compromised. Changes occur in your carbohydrate, protein, fat metabolism, fluid and electrolyte balance, heart, cardiovascular system, and even sex drive. WOW! I think we can all agree that this is a huge problem and can not be ignored. Trust me it'll drive you crazy...lol I know 1st hand.
You know that feeling you get on a roller coaster ride and your cart starts going higher and higher? Not so much fun anymore because instead of being on a roller coaster you are driving on the highway in traffic or at work and you start freaking out! Yeah, not cool and very real. We all will handle it differently I would act cool even though my heart is ready to fall out of my chest.
